*flails* This book is AWESOME! The worldbuilding. The culture. The CHARACTERS! *loves so much*

I don't know where to start. I started reading this book yesterday afternoon and couldn't. Put. It. Down. Seriously, I read as long as I had light outside yesterday and immediately after breakfast today I started again. (I blame my headache from yesterday on being pulled into this book and forgetting to drink enough.)

The worldbuilding is awesome. Flying islands? Fyling boats? A city rotating with the help of steampower? A world full of different races that inhabitate air, earth and sea? No humans but so many different races with different looks. Shape-shifer that shift into flying creatures (WINGS!!!!!! ♥) with claws and thrills and scales and are just awesome all around? Animals (?) called cloud-walker who are really, really big and feed on plants that lie across the surface of the ocean? Hook. Line. Sinker.

The characters? I have to admitt - I'm a sucker for characters like Moon. Orphan, outsider, trying to survive alone, being found by someone or a group, taken in, they don't trust him to a 100 %, he doesn't trust them to a 100 % but they arrange themselves, work together for a common goal, start to trust each other and become friends. ♥ *Everything* about Moon is what I love to read about a character. Why I'm happily investing hours into a book even though I should do a lot of other things. Why I'm falling in love with a character and a book. ♥

There are also many other major and supporting characters that I dearly love - Jade, Stone, Chime, Flower, Root, Bitter, Frost, Thorn and all the others. Hell, even the bad guys are awesome and really "good" bad guys!

I love Moon's interaction with Stone, Chime and Bitter, Frost & Thorn especially. ♥ OMG! So many *awww*, funny and heartstring tugging moments. ♥

The story itself is thrilling, suspensefull, awesome, has funny moments, has sad moments, has action parts, has calm parts in which you just enjoy the characters enjoying a quit afternoon waiting for someone/something and so much more.

I especially love the humor. Oh boy, there were so many parts where I had to laugh out loud (which is a bit embarrassing when you sit outside on your balcony, laugh out loud and your neighbours are shooting startled looks up to you when they leave/come *facepalm*).

Also, there is so much delicious H/C in this book. OMG! Alone for the H/C it's worth to read this book and the H/C on top of everything else that I've already said above? *flails so much*

Such an awesome, awesome, awesome book. I'm so very looking forward to the next part(s)! ♥
