This was a good book. Maybe up there with all-time favourite books.
A birthday present for myself (last year) after hearing good things about it, this one is a little odd but a very good read (and I have so many sticky notes in my copy!). The narrator is odd to interact with at first – she’s very detached and always thinks of things in terms of science, never being direct about her feelings. But the stories she tells still give you enough to understand what she’s going through, as she tries to make sense of her research and life and who she wants to be, with some dry humour thrown in.
