I love Diem, our FMC, but let me tell you, she kinda made me mad at points, but that goes to show you how much I connected with her because I was trying to "reason" with her and saying I'd never do that so why are you?

This book got me out of a little slump, and now I want to read all of them and devour them and let them take over my life.

The trials Diem goes through hit you right in the gut because all she wants to do is help her family. With her mother gone, I feel like she doesn't have that support person there for her to speak to and know whether she is doing right or wrong.

I highly recommend this book and will definitely be reading the rest of the series to what happens next because that ending!!
