Once Upon a Time Travel by Sariah Wilson

I gave it a fair shot. I really did. How did 368 pages feel like infinitely more? By the time I stopped reading, it felt like I had read at least 300 pages already.

The main character was such a clueless airhead who didn't even try to fit into the century she fell into. She kept speaking in ways no one understood on purpose and acted annoyed with they didn't know how to respond. 'You're the problem, it's you.' She didn't even attempt to make the best of it. Just complained the whole time. I get it was a culture shock, but I just found her annoying.

By the end (which I skipped to), she stayed for love. It was a bit emotional, I'll admit. Especially after the box and letter to Bex. That was the only thing I liked about this book. Which is sad because I love time travel tropes.
