Like Mother, Like Daughter by Kimberly McCreight
3.0
I read Reconstructing Amelia years ago and loved it, and now want to re-read it, because it also addresses mother-daughter relationships like this one. I think McCreight handles them wonderfully. This book was especially interesting because of those personal touches of having a relationship with a parent and then realizing they’re their own person, and trying to mesh those two concepts together. The ending seemed a bit rushed and convenient to me but it all lined up overall so I’m not mad about it.
