I really loved this book! I had heard a lot of good things about it and finally got around to reading to it. I actually listened to the audiobook version, narrated by Robert G. Slade and he did a fantastic job, making subtle changes to his voice for each of the different characters. It was my first time listening to an audiobook, and while there were some details of the book I feel I missed out on, the narrator was such a good storyteller that I felt it really added to the story.

A nice, sweet read, full of Canadian history and geography! Perfect read for this weekend!
