I just don’t like the hero Preston in this, he’s really selfish IMHO and even though the sex scenes are well written (some of the hottest of have ever read in the historical romance genre) I just feel like I would be forcing myself to push through just to find out what happens with Preston and this land deed. I’m more interested in what happens with Nellie and the duke. Maybe I’ll come back to this another time if I can listen to the audiobook version.
