This book was so, so sweet. I enjoyed the domesticity we see Reyna and Kianthe shared, as well as the more fantastical aspects of their world - dragons, Magicary duties, thwarting bandits, etc. It was a nice blend that emphasized what the characters wanted (a peaceful life together) and what they had to deal with along the way (the aforementioned fantastical elements).
Also, as a pun enjoyer myself, Kianthe's humour was appreciated.
Definitely recommend checking this out for anyone who wants something light/cozy. I'm cinsidering picking up the sequel.
