Couldn’t put this one down. I read it in one day. Seanan’s writing never fails to keep my attention. Her world building is realistic & creative. I was captivated by the Hooflands. Regan as a character is extremely relatable even as an adult. The toxicity of friendships isn’t always a touched upon subject and I found this exploration of it realistic, and important. This book is full of acceptance for who you are. Love love the theme of Destiny & hero’s being dangerous ideas. Cannot get enough of this series.
