Verity by Colleen Hoover

4.0

This psychological thriller follows a struggling writer, Lowen, who takes over the works of a famous author, Verity Crawford, after she's left incapacitated in a car accident. As Lowen digs into Verity's unfinished manuscript, she discovers disturbing secrets about Verity's life and her family, especially her relationship with her husband, Jeremy. The lines between truth and fiction blur as Lowen becomes more entangled in the family's dark past.

Sometimes the truth is more unsettling than fiction, and trust can be a tricky thing when you don’t know who to believe. It’s definitely gripping, full of twists, and keeps you on edge. The complex characters and the suspenseful mystery draw you into the darker corners of human nature, leaving you questioning everything you've read!
