Damned If I Duke by Anna Bradley

emotional funny hopeful lighthearted medium-paced

5.0

Prudence tries to extort Jasper, Duke of Montford, into forgiving her father’s gambling debts. When their plans backfire, Jasper’s grandfather pressures them into marriage. As they clash and ignite an unexpected passion, Jasper wonders if it’s too late to win the heart of his unconventional wife.

I love the characters in this book. The chemistry between Prue and Jasper is combustible. The story is engrossing and fun, the kind you stay up all night to finish. The audiobook narration was entertaining.

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.
