I received this book as a holiday gift of "blind date with a book" so I knew nothing about it until I opened it and read the trigger warning list...after a quick giggle, I started the book. The only thing of complaint I would say is, it's mentioned right away that they aren't shifters, but they still have all the shifter traits (minus actually shifting) so I found that that took away from the story a bit, but that's because I'm so deep into the shifter world of reading right now, nothing against the writing or author! Other than that I liked everything about Jo, Mac, Vette, and Lark, loved the story and all the dark themes in it!
