Wow. I wasn't sure about grabbing this one, but I am SO glad I did. It totally lives up to the hype. It's written similarly to Daisy Jones and the Six, documentary speak for a chapter and then Katarina's point of view.

Katarina Shaw has known exactly where she's going since she was 4 years old, the Olympic podium. Her tenacity kept her going as a poor Midwesterner living with her drunk of a brother and her ice dance partner Heath. He may not care about ice dancing, but he sure as hell cares about Katarina and will do anything (ANYTHING) to show her he cares, including move across the country and take their training to the next level. As the 10 year anniversary of their last skate together approaches, an unauthorized documentary is released and a brand new wave of Shaw and Rocha fanatics come out of the woodwork. Rumors have always plagued them, but their truth might just be stranger than fiction.

This was utterly addictive and salacious. It read like a bit of a soap opera meets reality TV meets documentary and frankly, I am HERE FOR IT. It's decadently consumable fiction at its finest.
