Thank you to L. Blaise Hues & Stag Beetle Books for providing me with an advanced listener’s copy in exchange for an honest review.
The Final Victor is the third book in the Fate’s Inmate Trilogy and is scheduled to be released on the 17th of June, 2024.
This series is a young adult dystopian fiction and story and The Final Victor picks up straight after where the second book, The Masked Victor, ended.
I enjoyed the pace of The Final Victor. I felt we had more tense moments and action. And it also felt like the story came a full circle and we were back at Rhosivi Mine where the first book started!
I liked Luka’s character development. He has come such a long way from when we met him back in Victor-27. He is likeable and trustworthy but you don’t want to get on his wrong side. His confidence has also developed and his sense of righteousness is more evident.
And I feel that the ending has been left somewhat open, so are we going to get more books in this series? I don’t know but I would love to read more about Luka, Lockbox, Emberly, and the rest of the Lurpers!
The audiobook for this was fantastic and the narrator, Caleb, did an excellent job giving a voice to the characters. I found his voice to be soothing and easy to listen to! I 100% recommend the Fate’s Inmate trilogy.
