This 5 ⭐️ might be because I’m coming off an awful slump of terrible, terrible books but I liked this one. I really really didn’t like Pierce and Kerrigan’s story so I waited to read this one but it was what I needed. After all the insta loves I’ve choked down, this bully enemies to lovers worked for me. These characters were complex and flawed. There was miscommunication and high school immaturity to overcome but they did it in a satisfying way. I wanted a comeuppance with the cheerleader who made Nellie’s life miserable, but we can’t always get what we want.
