I’m not typically one for dramatics, but oh my god?? Will be thinking about this forever. May even buy a physical copy (as a library reader who never rereads things, that’s saying a lot. I actually want to reread the end right now and I finished an hour ago). It’s about such big things and such little things all at once. The writing is stunning. Cyrus is a self-involved over-thinking dick, but since I am also a self-involved over-thinker (hopefully less dickish), it resonated. The ending is surreal and ambiguous, know that going in. I would love to ascribe to the happy version, but I think there’s more evidence for the sad version. Idk, it was clever and unique and raw.
