This is the first book I've read by this author, so I had no idea what to expect but it's safe to say that ill definitely be reading more of her work. For it being a shortish book, it really kept me on edge throughout and I was actually surprised at how many secrets were revealed, yet it still didn't feel like enough😅 I really enjoyed how we got to see the world through Cate's eyes because you not only felt her sadness and discomfort, you also share her humour and conflicting hope. Some of her quotes and phrases really stuck with me after finishing the book and I'm still unsure if I can actually sympathise with or even like Imogen. It's beautifully written, gripping and thought provoking, so I would say this is a job well done!

Thank you to @lovebooktours, @stephaniecartyauthor & @bloodhound.books for the opportunity to review this ARC.
