Gotta admit, I didn't love this as much as the other two contemporary YA romances of Brigid Kemmerer's I've read. I enjoyed the complexity of the characters' situations, and how the stories tied together. I enjoyed seeing the way certain relationships played out. But I just didn't feel the romance between Maegan and Rob at ll, there was zero chemistry there and it always felt very forced. It wouldn't have been as popular, I'm sure, but I'd have much preferred a friendship story here, because I think that's what they both needed more than anything. The romance really detracted from everything else, in my opinion.
