while this wasn't perfect, this was incredibly addicting. i love a damaged badass heroine with an equally damaged badass hero who come together and engage in what is the definition of a toxic relationship. toxic, but also passionate, i have to say. they made decisions that distinguished just how emotionally and mentally unwell these two were, but you know what? i'll give it to them. i was able to suspend my level of disbelief for this book. it took me on a wild ride so what else can i ask for? o enjoyed the found family, the action, and all the absolute chaos in between. did this have (many) issues? 100%. did i still eat it up? without a doubt.
