Haunting Adeline by H.D. Carlton
5.0
Twisted but so good
This is probably the darkest book I’ve ever read and while it definitely was sick and twisted it was also really good and I’m really eager for the next one!
Update: After reading book 2, I retract my statement about this book being the darkest romance novel I’ve ever read. Book 2 wins, that is all.
Addison moves into her grandmothers old, haunted mansion and notices that she has a man watching her in her backyard. Each day, her stalker (and her for that matter) grow more brave inching closer and closer to coming face to face. It starts with him just watching her from her backyard, then she hears noises in the house and finds roses left for her repeatedly, and eventually they do come face to face!
