The Accident by C.L. Taylor

3.0

Taylor writes some of the most authentic-feeling characters in the genre, and one must offer a great deal of respect towards the highly truthful and dexterous rendering of both abusers and victims. It's incredibly accurate. The Accident isn't at all bad, although there are few terrible passages that shouldn't have made it into print. It seems like she needs a better editor to weed these (infrequent) silly parts out; they steal brilliance from otherwise rather masterful thrillers.
