First off I would like to start by saying the Audiobook voiced by Macleod Andrews is good and he made Waspwhisker sound like Willem Dafoe.

I enjoyed seeing how kittypets and loners were included in clan life throughout the story. Seeing Leafstar again as leader was very enjoyable, but it got tedious when she doubted herself and questioned her decisions on every other page. Billystorm is a neat little character that I love. My baby Shrewtooth you didn't deserve all that horrible stuff that happened to you king I love you.

The book, however, seemed to be very very jam-packed full of large conflicts happening in such a short period. It gave off the impression that the book was meant to originally be a series of its own but as they didn't have enough ideas or time they jammed it all into this one. Also, Sharpclaw being weirdly mysterious for no reason other than just cause he wanted to test Leafstar was very funny (though it wasn't meant to be). Spottedleaf need to get out of these damn books already I am sick of seeing her name and smelling her "sweet scent" I'm done with that lass and if she continues to pop up I will not be a happy cat. Also, I hope the Hunter's move on from the phrase "from ears to tail tip" because it got hell repetitive hell fast.
