Not much of a murder mystery. Far too much overexplaining of events repeatedly which just makes the author appear as thinking their readers are dumb. Not a lot happened at all. Characters were flat. So much waffling in each paragraph I could read the first line of each and still know what had happened. Skim read it to finish for book club. A shame as I adored The Lost Apothecary by this author.
