I finished this book, barely. The first half was pretty good, an immortal looking for his lost brother, finds a witch who is inexplicably drawn to him. There are some evil vampires, demons, and a shapeshifter or two thrown in the mix to add some drama, but nothing much happens. The lovers travel to rescue the brother, brother has some issues, they return home, try to summon some other brothers, that's about it. I really wanted to get into this, I wanted to know what happened, but everything was flat. There were a few romance scenes, those were interesting, but the plot itself just didn't keep my interest. The characters were one dimensional and the dialogue was uninteresting. I won't be continuing this series unfortunately.
