I thoroughly enjoyed the first part of this book, which is a direct continuation of the Forest House/Forests of Avalon. The second part was okay, but I wasn't really a fan of the characters. I was really engaged by the third part again, which described what happens in Avalon just before the Mists of Avalon starts.
