Moon Dance by J.R. Rain

5.0

I recently finished the book Moon Dance. This book is written by J.R. Rain. It is the first book in the Vampire For Hire series. It takes place in and near Orange County, California.

This book is about a woman who is happily married with two children who she adores with all her heart. Through an accident that happens to her, she becomes a vampire. She loses her job and her normal life. She goes into her own private practice as a private investigator so she can make her own hours to work with her new biological schedule. In Moon Dance, she helps a lawyer find out who shot him five times in broad daylight.

Personally, I enjoyed this book for its storyline. However, I don't think that everybody will share my sentiments on this. for one, there are a lot of points in the book that force you to draw your own conclusions and assumptions. Personally, I enjoy books like these. Secondly, there are many instances where very advanced vocabulary is used. I see this as a plus personally, but many wont. Lastly, there are many things that are brought up that I felt should of been described in better detail. Nonetheless, I still found this book to be highly enjoyable. I would highly recommend it to anybody who asks my opinion.
