If you like modern adaptations of classic novels, then I recommend picking this one up if you happen to like Anne of Green Gables. (I would be aware that it does have sexual content so it might not be suited for younger readers!) I really enjoyed this take on the classic tale and how it developed and showcased Anne's past with her present day being her last year of graduate school. The only minus thing about it was that it was not long enough because I wanted more and I felt the ending was a bit rushed with Gilbert's accident and then it just ended. (I am always a person who prefers longer books than short ones anyway.) Overall, this book was very cute and definitely a fun read!
