I rarely give a memoir 5 stars so this is legit. I love the style. It feels like fiction with all the dialogue. I don't know how he remembered all of this to write it all down. It really walks the line of fiction prose/memoir, and I think that's what makes it successful. It's the retelling of something that happened when you were nine. I think this book should be required reading for everyone. It really gives insights into what people go through to get to the US. Might change some folks minds.
