Tomié 03 by Junji Ito
5.0
4,5/5. Tomie is a weird book, like everything Junji Ito does. It closer to a collection of short stories, even if related somehow, than an actual long unique story. Tomie is the unresistible girl, everybody fall in love and it drive them mads, plus, she can dies, she always come back, multiply and transform. The strange feeling, the weird ideas, the black humor/fun of it made this book very entertaining. I drop it half a star because those stories even if different, have more or less the same pattern over and over and if can become a bit repetitive in same ways. I was going to read it in one sitting and than realize it would be better to stretch it on a couples of days, so I did, and I would recommend readers to do too. Maybe not the best of Ito I think I'd prefer Gyo and Uzumaki, but if you like those, than Tomie is definitely word reading. I love it and will continue to explore this author works!
