The Faker Rulebook by Baylin Crow

emotional funny inspiring lighthearted sad medium-paced

5.0

Noah has been in love with Rook since he was 12 but he will never tell him that. When Noah's mom tries to set him up at his brother's wedding he makes a deal with Rook. They'll fake date so Noah's mom stops trying to set him up. How do you keep yourself from falling deeper in love with your fake boyfriend? You don't.

Sugar Lips is the best nickname ever. How they met is adorable. The birthday party was sad and cute at the same time. That first kiss was wild. Rook's possessiveness is intoxicating. I love how Rook always looks for Noah at all his basketball games. Knight flirting with Noah to make Rook jealous is hilarious. It's hard to come to terms with the fact that you aren't straight when you've been telling yourself your whole life that you are straight.

I love this story. I laughed and cried. The audiobook is definitely the way to read this. Wow that was hot. Baylin Crow sure knows how to write. Absolutely epic.
