This is a re-read for me. I forgot how much I love this book. This is one of the YA classics for me. The writing quality is also vastly different from a lot of the fantasy/YA books being put out today which was startling to me. I didn’t realize how much our standards had fallen from the time this book came out to now. Saddening, but that’s also the beauty of books: we can always pick them up, go back, and find these wondrous worlds again.
