Generally, I like Jennifer Ashley's work but this was just a weird one for me. The chemistry between the characters was almost non existent and the story line a little odd. I think I liked it up until the end. When I read a PNR, I expect a complete happily ever after. Although they, of course, end up together - it's not an all encompassing happily ever after...if you read it, you'll know what I mean. The ending seemed forced, if the book was a little longer, the ending could have been smoothed out and maybe it would have made more sense.
