This may be Casey McQuinston's most underrated book. I absolutely adored this book and it read like an 80s brat pack movie in the best way possible. This is the first YA book in a long time that I felt was actually written for teens. It's very enjoyable to read as an adult but I love that it is for teens. As someone who grew up in rural Canada who did not fit the ideal imposed on students at my school this was a cathartic read.
