This book felt very different from King of Battle and Blood.
It focuses more on Isolde's character development and Adrian's inner turmoil.
While I understand why people don't like this book as much, I personally really enjoyed it. Especially the progression we see in Isolde, and the connection she makes with other characters. I will admit, I did not love Adrian in this book, but I understand the struggle he is experiencing. He's just different.
Anyways... this book made me cry!
