"do you think he'll get glyndon back?"
"oh, i'm sure he will. he looks at her the way you look at me."
"and how do i look at you?"
"like you'll destroy the world as long as i remain safe."

did i finish the book, or did the book finish me? miss rina, what have you done to me 😩??? the way i ate this book up from start to finish should be illegal, like ma'am, it's only the first in the series. this book dragged every emotion of out me possible, because WHY were the last few pages nothing but ✨chaos✨ like we were happy, then my emotions went all out of wack because of everything that happened.

"you chose me."
"what?"
"back there, you chose me in front of your brother. brothers, plural. and that fucker eli... i'll make sure you always choose me as much as i choose you."

killian mf carson. that is it. that is all. "you make the demons go away, even temporarily." 😩 sobbing, crying, sliding down the wall, my poor little heart omg my misunderstood villain he just wanted to feel loved by his parents 🥺 from the firefly forest, to quitting smoking, to taking her to meet his parents (with his difficult relationship with them) when she said what he's giving her wasn't enough >>>>>

then my girl glyndon, omg, i loved her. and i love her and jonathan's relationship so much. like i hated jonathan in royal elite, loved him in his books, and just when i thought i couldn't love him any more, here he comes with the best relationship for his only granddaughter omg i can't.

glyndon and killian literally have my heart forever, and no one can make me change my mind !

"i'm yours, my monster."
"and i'm yours, little rabbit."
