Fuzzy Nation by John Scalzi
5.0
I love this one.
I haven't read the book on which this book is based on, so I'm not able to compare them, but I really liked the characters and the plot of this one.
Jack is likeable (even though it turns out that he isn't really a good person. As he said - he was the right person for this but he isn't necessarely a good person in every aspect. Just where it counts.). Isabel and Mark are likeable (and how do I love it, that there was absolutely no jealousy by Jack regarding the relationship of Isabel and Mark. No trying to win her back or anything. Just trying to be her friend. ♥ ). The other characters are surprising and not. And the fuzzys? The fuzzys are adorable.
The plot is a bit predictable but still has some twists I didn't see coming (loved that the fuzzys are unisex and that Papa could speak the language). ♥ Of course, once again two supporting characters I love died. *sobs*
In short, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful pageturner.
