This book has been sitting on my Finish Later shelf for three years now. I forgot all about it but when I was scrolling through my books and saw this book, I decided to finish reading it. I am happy I did because it was such a fun read. Dorothy is awesome and I just loved seeing her interact with Eli and his son Roman. This book was light and fun, but it also had its emotional moments.

The book wasn't predictable which I appreciated a lot. The flow was great and there was nothing boring about this book. I was invested in the characters and finding out how the story would develop. I was sad to see it end, and searched online for a bonus epilogue or something but I don't think there is one. Jewel is such an amazing author, who writes the most awesome characters and original plots. I definitely need to read more of her books.
