this definitely wasn't my cup of tea, even though i was drawn to the concept. i was not a fan of the world building here. every chapter was just info dump after info dump after info dump. and i don’t really know if anything actually happened in this book because while there was some action, the plot itself was very predictable. maybe this just wasn’t ideal for me but i really struggled to press on and finish the book. 1/5 stars
