A frustrating 3.5 stars again. These books are always quite a mixed bag for me.

The first 25 chapters were slow and repetitive and Violet was being whiny, annoying AND a total hypocrite. But then it really picked up in the second half. Like, a LOT. But then the ending…unnnghgh. I don’t know if I like where we’re going to be going in the next book - it’s going to be very painful
