Depression: In my own Words by Mahiraj Jadeja

1.0

Basically, Depression is a personal essay. I found it interesting in the beginning, but my interest waned toward the end. What I found troubling was the lack of citations when the author wrote about the stages of depression. Were these stages facts? Or were they just his own personal observations? But in any event, some references (interviews with therapists, etc.) would have been helpful in justifying his remarks. And I may be nitpicky, but I was troubled by how many conclusions there were in the essay. Can there be more than one? I counted three. An unfortunate I didn't like it single star for me.
