The Woman in Me by Britney Spears

5.0

Was this the best memoir I've ever read? No.

Did I expect more from Britney? Absolutely not. It seems like a lot of you expected a literary masterpiece from someone that as gone through hell from her family, doctors, and Hollywood.

Britney doesn't owe the world every nitty, gritty detail into her life. I think enough was her sharing a very traumatizing event when she was dating JT.

Obviously a ghost writer was involved and I'm glad there was one. I think the ghost writer was successful in still portraying the memoir as it was from Britney.

What more could we have expected from a memoir from someone that had been constantly followed by the paparazzi or had her family leaking stories for years? This memoir was exactly what I expected to get.

I do wonder why something wasn't added to mention her divorce from Sam as there could've been a quick maybe one chapter on it added as that happened in August and this was released in October. There have been edits made to other memoirs in a quicker turn around time.

Final thoughts: May JT, Kevin, and her family never know peace.
