Ready to Fall by Daisy Prescott

4.0

Ready to Fall was a heartwarming tell of two people overcoming heartache, guilt, and pain in life to find each other and to give love a chance. John and Diane were both incredible. I greatly appreciated Diane's spunkiness and sass. She was strong despite her past, and it was so refreshing to read a character like her. John Day is SWOOOOONY. A bearded, flannel-wearing lumberjack. Need I say more?

It was lovely to return to Whidbey, to revisit some of the characters I fell in love with in Geoducks are for Lovers, and to watch someone break through John Day's tough exterior.

A fun, easy read.
