Still having a hard time placing this one. The worst chapter in this book had to be "The Narrow Way." Thankfully the chapter after it redeemed the book, cuz it was past my bedtime and I couldn't read further. "The Last Wizard" was a brilliant chapter, probably my favorite! Rachel was way too whiny for me for two chapters, those chapters probably could have just disappeared for all I cared. I found the Nedwin chapters pretty interesting. Can't wait for my husband to get to those, they were the most surprising chapters in the book. But yeah, was about to beat Brandon Mull up over "The Narrow Way." At least it wasn't a whole infuriating book, like Harry Potter number 5 was a whole book of irritating. Well, I guess Beyonders book one was somewhat infuriating itself, but I was more mad at the TNW chapter than I was at book one. So if you think everything is going to happen fast after the island chapter, nope! you must listen to Rachel whine and wait for Jason to push through some trials and fatalities. I just need to ramble about this book here and complain a little, because my husband isn't finished with this book yet. I just need someone to talk to about it! Anyone else out there think the Nedwin chapters were interesting? I know, I disregarded all my respect for grammar and sentence style in this review. Forgive me, college student on spring break here.
