To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han

5.0

I need the sequel, and I need it now.

I picked this up because of all the hype on book-tube.I knew I would like it because, its contemporary. However I loved it,way more than I thought I would.

I found the concept of the book very interesting and unique.
Spoiler I fell in love with gradually 'love' between Lara Jean and Peter. It had me squealing in happiness and doing little dances however other times jumping up and down in annoyance, but in a good way. That's when I knew I had grown a special attachment to the book. I really enjoyed their fake relationship,it made me laugh and made me wanting them to have more. When they finally realized their feelings for one and other, I was so happy I actually danced. But once the rumor got out I was so angry and felt like crying,my trust for Peter waved and I didn't know what to think about him. Had he made the rumor? Or was he innocent?
I loved how the book actually included the letters she had sent. I also really like Lara Jean as a character. I really liked all the characters. The ending just made me want to have the next book right there and then. Jenny Han does have a way with words. Whether its to make you fall into her story, make characters real in your mind or to grab your heart and not let go until the end (not even then). This book holds a special place in my heart, and I'm happy to say I have read it. I will be picking up more Jenny Han books in the future. I recommend it to contemporary lovers or even people who want to try contemporary.
