I didn't like Ted or Max. Other than them, I enjoyed secondary characters such as Jessi from the rescue service and Kenny from the mechanic shop and coffee shop. Flynn was a good boyfriend as Nathan found out.

The story of Katie and Bradley's wedding wound around this story of Nathan and Flynn which gave a different perspective.

I listened to this and think I would have enjoyed it more if I had read it. The accept kept changing. While I realize there could be different accents based on social class, but all the accents were different which I found disconcerting. Also sometimes the mood seemed to change in the middle of the sentence.
