I am listening to the ebook, so some of my problems are with that. The narrator's voice and tone some times gets on my nerves, especially with Valerian. He sounds like a stereotypical surfer, and it's annoying. The word accoutrements is really overrused in this book. Both Adrien and Amber's charachters are driving me crazy.
