This is everything I want from a marriage of convenience story. They both have something to gain from the partnerships and they tell each other as much. But also they are so into each other that the marriage doesn't stay convenient for long. Another part of Luz Alana and Evan's dynamic that I appreciated was that Even does tell Luz his secret BEFORE it ruins their relationship. It does cause some strife and hurt feelings, but he doesn't surprise her with it. A lesser author would be tempted to make some reveals more public and those betrayals are harder to come back from. Also, the surprises in this book took me! Also yes, the sexy is hot as hell and yes he does make her come on top of the Eiffel Tower. .
