Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
5.0
Holy crap, I flew through this book. I picked it up and only paused for a bathroom break. Scarlet is another fascinating book in the Lunar Chronicles series. Scarlet herself is such a great character, with Wolf being the perfect man opposite her through the story. It was great reading more Cinder also, with Thorne being such a great sidekick for her. He reminded me of Nathan Fillion's charming jackass roles. The story is in full gear by the end of this book, with Cinder gathering a nice group of allies around her. Normally when a group of allies forms there's always one or two I never connect with, but so far I love them all.
I remember the cover to Cinder kept calling out to me, and I kept saying I need to check out this series. Two books in now and it has me the most excited out of all the books I've read this year. I can't wait to move ahead to Cress next. Another 5 out 5 here.
