I didn't hate this book but I really, really didn't like it. For a start, it just wasn't funny. It might have been if the stories had been anecdotes as opposed to long, boring, drawn out chapters. The change between referring to her parents as mum or dad to Brenda and Tony mid page was weird and the obsession with bodily functions got very tedious. Just a total yawn for me.
