No Rest for the Wicked by Kresley Cole
2.0
So apparently consent is a dirty word in this universe? What the actual hell?
I liked the idea of the character of Sebastian - a 300 year old vampire turned against his will into the thing he despises. Also quite insecure when it comes to women. Until he's not. There was no consistency and some of the things done were very questionable.
Kaderin is a strong Valkerie warrior unable to feel any emotions - until she meets Sebastian (natch). She's also quite the bitch. Is it really that hard to write a likeable strong female character?
I did like the "Immortal Amazing Race" concept though.
Hoping this series gets better.
